Hi, I'm Julie Robinson, the human behind Kaleido. I am an emerging photographer/artist based in Toronto. I live and breathe photography and art. Successfully merging my two loves, gives me purpose and gives me a sense of accomplishment. It engages my mind, heart and hands. In short, it fills me with joy!
I get a tremendous kick out of sharing my work too. I recently had my first solo photo exhibit at Q Space. Entitled "This is What Democracy Looks Like" it documented the Toronto Occupy Movement's occupation of St. James Park in Fall 2011. Several of the pieces from that show are displayed in the Protest Gallery here. I am currently working on a new series for a Spring show. Always shooting for the moon!
